Trump’s idea of creating a parallel peace council outside the UN feels both bold and controversial. On one hand, I understand the frustration with traditional institutions that often move too slowly. On the other, setting up a separate council risks fragmenting global diplomacy even further. Personally, I think it reflects his style direct, disruptive, and unapologetic. What surprises me is how many leaders are willing to entertain the idea, even though it could undermine existing frameworks. For me, the most important question is whether such a council would actually deliver results or just add noise. I believe peace efforts need unity, not division, but I also see why some nations might welcome alternatives. In the end, this move could either reshape diplomacy or deepen mistrust among allies.
