According to the report, Republic Presidential candidate Donald Trump has gained a slight lead over Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris in the latest New York Times and Siena College poll.
According to the poll, 48 percent of voters support Trump, while 47 percent of voters prefer Harris. This indicates that the momentum of Harris' campaign has fizzled out just ahead of the presidential debate.
The report added that the poll also showed that while voters prefer Harris on the issues of abortion and democracy, they would like Trump to make decisions for the economy and immigration. The second presidential debate of this year's election cycle and the first matchup between Trump and Harris will take place on September 10 in Philadelphia which was not materialized
