According to the report, the United States launched a large-scale series of airstrikes across central Syria targeting more than 70 Islamic State (ISIS) sites, including fighters, infrastructure, and weapons depots, in retaliation for a deadly ISIS-linked ambush near Palmyra that killed three Americans, two U.S. soldiers, and a civilian interpreter earlier this month.

The operation, dubbed Operation Hawkeye Strike, involved U.S. fighter jets, attack helicopters, and artillery, and was supported by Jordanian air forces.

Hoping all ISIS minsters willbeeliminated y the USA.

Operation Hawkeye Strike reflects the scale of the United States' response to the ISIS attack in Palmyra. The deployment of more than 70 simultaneous airstrikes against fighters, weapons depots, and infrastructure demonstrates the intention to send a clear message: there will be zero tolerance for ambushes that claim the lives of soldiers and civilians. The participation of Jordanian forces also shows that the fight against terrorism remains a coordinated, regional effort. However, beyond the immediate impact, the question remains whether these operations will weaken ISIS in a lasting way or merely produce a temporary retreat. History shows that these groups tend to adapt and reconstitute themselves. Therefore, in addition to military action, it is crucial to work on political and social strategies that reduce the fertile ground for their expansion.
