According to the report, President Donald Trump began his first trip to the Asia Pacific since his re-election in 2024 by attending the ASEAN summit in Malaysia. ASEAN was founded in 1967, and member nations represent a population of more than 680 million. The report also said that earlier on Saturday, they heard President Trump saying that he is "open" to meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un at the demilitarized zone (DMZ) while he is in South Korea.
