According to the report, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that “intense fighting" will resume in Gaza if Hamas does not release hostages.

The report said that Hamas said the hostage release scheduled for Feb.15 was postponed due to Israel failing to meet its commitments under a ceasefire agreement, including on aid, and the deaths of three Gazans at the weekend.

The report added that Netanyahu said he had ordered the army to “gather forces inside and around the Gaza Strip” as he warned the "ceasefire will end, and the army will return to intense fighting until Hamas is finally defeated."

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said Hamas was "playing the tough guy" as he doubted that the Palestinian militant group would abide by the ultimatum.

The Hamas terrorist are not following the agreement. After the postponement date of the hostages are not freed, there is a sure fierce war. The Hamas must realize this. I think that's a big excuse of Hamas about the liberation of hostages. Are the remaining hostages still alive. In my opinion that's a big question mark. The Hamas failed to free the Israeli hostages, they might be already dead.

Hamas must come clean and release those hostages if they are still alive. If they are death, they should better let the isreal know and peace deal will be reached. Hamas should stop punishing Palestinians because Isreal will not back down until the last hostage is released.

The release of the hostages already started but Hamas did not release all at one time. Maybe they are afraid of retaliation because of those dead bodies the Hamas returned, whereas the Palestinian hostages, were returned alive.
