In my opinion, for items or tools that we use frequently, it would be better for us to have them so we should be able to collect money to buy them.
Try to purchase and own things you use frequently than renting them.

I have realised that paying rents on monthly basis is pretty expensive than owning something and use for the rest of your life.
Imagine that you pay $5 to rent maybe a speaker that you use every week. In one year, you would have spent the money needed to buy same speaker on renting.
In a way you are right but if you don't need the thing for a long time then its better to rent and not own like if you need to travel a lot, switch jobs or location then its better to rent.
