Ukraine admits Russia has entered key region of Dnipropetrovsk

Russia's military has entered the eastern industrial area of Dnipropetrovsk and is attempting to take control, Ukrainian forces have admitted. Viktor Trehubov of the Dnipro Operational-Strategic Group of Troops told the BBC, "This is the first attack of such a large scale in Dnipropetrovsk region," but he clarified that their progress had been halted. As Russian soldiers attempt to advance more into Ukrainian territory from the Donetsk region, Russia has made claims throughout the summer that it has entered the region.

It will be difficult for Russia to continue because Ukraine have learnt how to stop Russia forces from operating effectively. Drones attack have helped Ukraine to stop Russian movement of heavy machinery.
