According to the report, Ukrainian strikes on energy infrastructure have left more than 20,000 people without power in several Russian border regions, local authorities said on Sunday.

The report also stated that Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Galdkov said that the electricity and heating supply network has suffered severe damage in the regional capital of the same name. Several streets are affected by power issues and more than 20,000 residents are without electricity.

The report also said that a fire also broke out at a heating facility in the southern Voronezh region after Ukraine shot down 44 drones over the border of Bryansk region.

The report added that on Saturday, Russian attacks on energy infrastructure left Ukraine scrambling to turn light and heating back on, with the state’s power provider saying its generating capacity was reduced to zero on Sunday.

The attack caused significant damage to Ukrainian power plants and resulted in at least four deaths.

In addition to the report, Moscow, which has escalated attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure in recent months, launched 69 drones at energy facilities across the country overnight into Sunday, of which 34 were shot down, according to the Ukrainian air force.

This story of the attacks shows that the game has become very intense. Ukraine has destroyed the power grid and more than twenty thousand people in Belgorod have been left without electricity and heat. Governor Galdkov said the damage is extensive. Many streets have been affected and the Voronezh heating facility has caught fire after the drones were shot down. This is a clear sign that the pressure of the war has increased and the impact on civilians is very great. The situation has become very difficult on the Russian side.
