President Volodymyr Zelenskiy replaced a popular top military chief on Thursday. According to speculations, there have been rifts between the Army chief General Valeriy and the president. The change of the army chief is unpopular and many Ukrainians frown at the move. The president did not state the reason for the shake up of the military leadership.
