The Ukrainian Air Force is thriving after receiving its first F-16 Fighting Falcon jets from NATO in August, using them to intercept Russian cruise missiles and drones. In addition to these new capabilities, Ukraine is expected to receive up to 36 MiG-29 Fulcrum jets from Serbia via France, expanding its fleet significantly.

While the Ukrainian Air Force is poised to benefit from these acquisitions, it faces a challenge: a shortage of trained pilots. With pilots needing months of training for the F-16, and the Ukrainian fleet swelling with new aircraft, Ukraine must quickly find a solution to its manpower shortage.

So the Ukrainian Air Force, which has a limited pool of trained and experienced pilots, needs to send some to the West to train and qualify on the F-16, while also having enough manpower to man its swelling fighter and attack jet fleet.

Ukraine has faced a pool of bloody encounters with Russian troops killing thousands and injuring hundreds. Just recently, Russia attacked one town in Ukraine killing 52 innocent people and injuring 271 civilians. Many hospitals, and businesses collapsed because of their attack using missiles and drones. A plot for revenge will be set by President Zelensky to avenge those fatalities and the damages in their country.
