According to the report, drone operators of Ukraine’s Birds of Madyar military unit have carried out another successful operation against Russian troops. Video footage released in social media shows precision UAV strikes on Russian troops and military equipment in various parts of the frontline. Despite their attempts to flee on a snowy road, Russian servicemen are eliminated one by one by Ukrainian drones.

The report noted that the Birds of Madyar unit is well-known for its effectiveness in combat during the ongoing war with Russia. Yet another social media video features the destruction of Russian infantry by the 5th Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Drone operators of the brigade effectively eliminated a large number of Russian troops in various sections of the frontline with precision strikes.

The report added that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, including drones, has become one of the most striking features of the nearly four-year-war in Ukraine as Kyiv has turned to drones as a cost-effective way to gather intelligence, hit targets, and offset Russia’s numerical advantage. Ukrainian drone operations have also extended far beyond the immediate front lines.

Additionally, long -range drones have been used to strike military infrastructure deep inside Russian-controlled territory, including fuel depots and air bases. It should be noted that Russia’s combat losses have exceeded 1.2 million since the start of the full-fledged invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
