According to the report, the US and Israel reportedly modified Israeli F-35I warplanes to extend range without refueling or compromising stealth, aiding Tel Aviv’s June 13 strike on Tehran. Middle East Eye quoted US officials confirming the jets were altered with internal fuel upgrades and possibly drop tanks. Aerospace experts called the modification “surgical”. Meanwhile, Iran warned of targeting US bases and launched drones at American sites in Iraq and near Erbil. Donald Trump denied US involvement but threatened massive retaliation if Iran attacked. Israel claimed Trump’s full support as it pressed Washington to join its campaign against Iran and provide weapons and intelligence.
