US, Canada Warn Against "Unchallenged" Russia Aggression as Zelensky Vows to Take Back Crimea

According to the report, on Ukraine’s Independence Day, the US and Canada issued strong warnings against allowing Russian aggression to go unchallenged. Both countries reaffirmed unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, underscoring that any peace must include Ukraine’s participation and respect its territorial borders. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney emphasized that security guarantees for Ukraine are a decision for Ukraine and its allies, not Russia. He also warned that unchecked Russian aggression poses a broader threat to European and global security.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky vowed to retake Crimea, reaffirming Ukraine’s territorial claims.
