According to the report, the United States has revoked the visa of Nigerian literary icon and Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka, according to a report by The Cable news portal.

The report stated that Soyinka revealed during a news conference that he received a letter from the US Consulate General in Lagos informing him that his non-immigrant visa had been invalidated. The letter cited “additional information” that emerged after the visa was issued and asked him to appear in person for its formal cancellation.

The report also said that the veteran writer suggested the move may be linked to his criticism of US President Donald Trump. Soyinka previously likened Trump to Uganda’s notorious former ruler, calling him “Idi Amin in white face.”

Soyinka, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1986, has long been known for outspoken critiques of political leaders around the world.

I had previously seen this headline but didn't read the content. Well, what the way forward for this our great man
That guy is brave, and he has the right to deliver his feelings and conviction about Trump; however, he is in the USA, and Trump is loved by the Americans, so he should have been very careful.

Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka
He has had his visa revoked by the US
They have told him his signature is not recognizable
They say they have new information about him
But he says it is because
He criticized President Trump so much
Comparing him to the Ugandan dictator
This is a sad truth
The US is losing its respect
Doing this to a respectable person like Soyinka
Justice does not come from revoking the visa
Of course this is just a political response

If this is really true, then i think it's safe to say there is freedom of speech, but freedom after speech is no longer certain. As it is now, a lot of people have started to boycott the United States.
