Taylor Townsend, an American tennis player, has apologized after receiving backlash for comments she made on social media about Chinese food. The 29-year-old, who is in Shenzhen, China, for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, uploaded videos on Instagram of dishes containing frogs, turtles, and sea cucumber, saying: "This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen... "I'm going to have to talk to HR... [eating] turtle and bullfrog is WILD." She quickly received reaction on English and Chinese social media channels. Ms Townsend, the world's number one doubles player, later apologized, stating, "There's no excuse, there's no words, and, for me, I will be better."

What Taylor said is true. When I was in China, I ordered for chicken leg in their resto only to be served with legs of birds. China is a dirty country, dead snakes are scattered everywhere. In their pharmacy you'll see different kinds of dried animals displayed. The smell of the pharmacy is so bad.
