The widespread use of alcohol and e-cigarettes among youngsters is "alarming", according to a report released on Thursday (Apr 25) by the World Health Organization's (WHO) European branch, which recommended measures to limit access.

The WHO noted that overall drinking had decreased for boys, while it had increased for girls.

People know the consequences but still do this.

Yes, and the age of young people who engage with alcohol and e-cigarettes is getting lower and lower these days, which is so sad. I think parents should make time to keep an eye out for their children because alcohol and smoking addiction rates are increasing rapidly in this generation.

Yes the parents should be vigilant for their kids and they too have to leave them if they are habituated to it. It's sad that today youngsters are getting addicted to nicotine and alcohol.
