.vip domain price increase for renewal

Normally the renewal price of .vip domains is $5.5 at a registrar. However, when I am trying to renew the domain , I am getting a message that the renewal price is $14.16. Does anyone else face this problem for .vip domain renewals?

I have never used dot vip. If your domain name falls under premium name, you might end up paying more for renewal

I don't make use of .vip domains so thankfully, this issue does not affect me.
