Warren County man sentenced for decades-old child molestation case

According to the report, a Warren County man was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison for sexually abusing a boy for four years.

The report stated that James Marconet pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual battery on Wednesday.

According to court papers, the abuse began in April of 1999, when the victim was 12, and ended in 2003—no word on the relationship between Marconet and the victim.

Additionally, Marconet had previously been convicted in 2024 for possessing child pornography.

That man is evil; he does not deserve to live. I also wonder why he is sentenced to serve his crime for 7.5 years. It is absurd. It should be 15 years to satisfy the victim and his family.
