Was there a time you approached a fortune teller to know if you're good at money - making?

Exactly. In addition, as Christians (as it was and still it is the very same for the Jews, and Hebrews in general), we should know the Bible strictly forbids us to consult whatever fortune-teller, sorcerer and similar. The first king of the Jews lost his life and his crown too, the day after having consulted a sorcerer, requiring a seance.

And it's true, those people are right. When behind them there isn't a simple monkey business, but it's said of a certain fortune-teller to be serious and his/her predictions become true, there are demons behind. The demons are who realize the prediction (at the very high cost of the customer's soul). So a serious fortune-teller is very much more dangerous than a simple monkey business stealing your money.
That is right, and there is also a punishment for that fortune teller if caught in the act of lying. There was a fortune teller jailed because he was seen in the night club bagging his earnings.
