I see so many people that run organizations and term them to be not for profit. They employ staff and pay them while also incurring other expenses.

Is it that the owner of a non for profit organisation doesn't make any money from it? What then is the purpose of running such an organisation?

It is extremely rich people that run not for profit organisation. And the goal is to help the society.
Yesh they might not be extremely rich but comfortable people that wants to touch people life and get satisfied with it

One of the major benefit is the sponsors and the network they get. Most of these non profit organizations, have access to top officials.
That's true. They might not get profits from the Non profits organization but they gain top contacts and goodwill locally and internationally.

Yes, some of these members are allowed to travel with ease to certain countries due to the role they play in their various organizations.

Non-profit organizations are not solely profit-oriented but rather focus or prioritize social and environmental issues, non-profit organizations' financial resources often come from donations and government funding. The workforce in non-profit organizations often relies on volunteers or employees who are paid small salaries that do not meet the regional minimum wage standards; in addition, non-profit organizations also do not have a market share but a community.
