I have been running my business solo for about a year now and it has come to the time that the workload is too much on me and I need to hire a staff. What challenges should I expect to face taking up this level of hiring a staff?

One of the challenges that one might face with having a staff for the first time would be the ability to define clear roles for the staff. Your role and the role of the staff might tend to overlap if you are also working in the business.

it would be communication. sometimes style of communication matters to know how yo pass the information to the other person

Having to adjust from working solo to working with another person might be a real challenge. And having to trust the staff too would be a challenge.
