According to several articles that I have read, it turns out that marriage not only unites two lovers of different genders, to love each other, care for each other, have children and more definite goals in the future, but will also create financial benefits such as:
1. Save more expenses
A single person who always eats out of the house after getting married will eat at home with his wife. Transportation is also becoming more economical because two or more people are carrying the vehicle, not alone. A woman can manage her finances so she is more economical.
2. Financial Consultation
Couples will always consult about finances and financial plans.

Financial benefits of marriage in a rational nation can include tax breaks, shared expenses, and the possibility of becoming eligible for spousal benefits like Social Security or health insurance. Increased financial stability and investment opportunities may also result from collaborative financial planning and pooled resources.
Wow, I have always believed getting married has lot of financial disadvantages and didn't even bother checking for its advantage. I have always seen getting married as having more financial responsibility.

Companies often give better promotions to married employees compared to single employees even if the single employee is doing more work. Married professionals, business owners have a better social status than single persons and get paid more for the same work.

In my case, I never aspire to get married. I want a free life free from headaches from the in laws. Well the only benefit it could give is happiness if there is right matches, love chemistry and both financially stable.
Marriage is wonderful if you are blessed with understanding spouse. Marriage is wonderful experience which every human should at least aspire to experience. I know few couples that are not rich but they are happy and contented with their lot.

You want to oppose my point of view, well I'll wait for the right time, right person and right love. Thanks Mags for that.

Principle of life is guarded by our utterances. What you speak naturally comes to you. Always wish yourself the best life can offer. You deserve all the best.

I'm so inspired with your words yes I have to wish myself the best life and the best version to be happy and achieve all my dreams for happiness sake.

All of those seeming financial benefits depend on who your marry. If you marry a person who has financial intelligence, you would improve and grow your finances together. If you marry a financial liability, you risk going down financially as the days go by.

We are on the same boat, Star. I do not aspire to get married. LOL. I just want to be with someone and be happy. I do not want to have children either because it is a big responsibility.

I'm single but never aspire to have a live in partner lol, it's far from my principle and we're a conservative family with a strong value of God's wrath in case disobey Him. But for sure I won't put a period of my statement because I don't know what destiny stores for me.

I see that this kind of discussion is there on other platforms too. I personally feel that it can help in few ways.
First, you become more responsible and accountable after marriage. That would bring the financial discipline in you. And you will have another person to help you with and give advice to.
Second, it becomes very important to be financially stable to get married. And many would like to get married in their prime youth and not delay it. So, it helps them get disciplined and focused on finance when still young. Also, it becomes a motivation to earn more and be financially better.

The key is to get married to someone who is mature mentally and knows how to manage, and as well think logically. This way there would definitely be lots of benefits. As they say, two heads are better than one.

Marriage can make you financially better or it can make you more broke. It all depends on who you marry, your financial decisions prior to marriage, the time you married and your decisions after marriage.

For instance, a couple that is not financially strong after marriage deciding to have a child immediately after would be more broke in the long term.

You're so right on that. Those who rushed to marry without financial preparations, no savings surely live in too much poverty. However, others triumphed because of the power of love they feel greater than what they suffer.

Married is a sacred institution and in India parents now try to get their daughters married when they don't do well in their studies and can't earn well. However marriage is still seen as a sacred institution in India.

According to survey results, getting married also makes it easier to make plans such as buying a house, car, etc. So actually getting married will also be able to control expenses. Couples will also find it easier to apply for home ownership credit (mortgages) than unmarried people.
