What button combinations does a hard reset on your smartphone?

There are keys that we would combine and press to do a hard reset on your phone. For some, it is the volume buttons combined with the power buttons. Do you know the keys to combine to do a hard reset on your smartphone? What key combinations work for hard resetting your phone?

For my smartphone, the power button and the volume up button when pressed and held when the phone is off would take you to the BIOS menu where you can reset your phone

I think it's pretty much the same for all phones if am not mistaken. The lower volume button and the power button.
