One US dollar in my country is equivalent to 57 pesos, but this equivalency is not permanent. With the one dollar, we can only buy here either : 2 apples, 4 pieces of banana, 2 pieces of avocado, or one kilo of the cheapest rice. In the past years, one dollar could buy one kilo of banana, but this time, it's only good for 4 pieces of banana.

I noticed that only a very few people buy fruits this time because of the overwhelming price. One dollar almost lost its value.
