What defines a corporate business?

I heard someone say that she can't run a business that is not corporate. And I would love to know if there are specific businesses that are corporate by default? Or the way one runs his or her business is what makes it corporate?

corporate company is not by default . You the owner makes it happen by making it legally recognized as a separate entity from its owners or shareholders. you having a formalized structure, with a board of directors responsible for making major decisions and overseeing the operations of the company

A corporate business is a business/company that has issued shares and traded on the stock exchange. So it is a big business, which is managed professionally and must always be audited and report tax activities.

There are many requirements that must be met before issuing shares on the stock exchange, so automatically the company must also be legal and meet the legal entity requirements as a company that will go public or launch an IPO.
