If i do not have anything else to do, then I can decide on taking some extra time to get paid extra.
If I have no other plans or are not feeling tired, I will work overtime to earn more.
I like the overtime jobs at least I get to be paid extra for my efforts. it is never a bad idea I believe

If it were me l would prefer going home very early rather than going for overtime work.
