There are people that are just spending money simply because they are comparing themselves with another person. They would buy the things the other person own even when they don't really need them.

What do you think can really keep someone from engaging in comparison spending?
 
Of course, we often encounter people who buy things similar to what others buy even though they don't actually need them, especially those who live in the same complex as the same institution. We know these people as shopaholics, who either don't want to be outdone or simply want to show off that they have the financial means to buy the same items.
