We often hear that we may even have to sell items or investment instruments because our emergency funds aren't enough to cover unexpected expenses like a broken-down car, damaged house, high hospital bills, etc. Financial wellness is a reflection of a person's financial ability to meet urgent needs without having to sell items or investment instruments, excluding investment instruments derived from emergency fund allocations.

When we achieve financial wellness, we experience minimal financial pressure, are stress-free, and can sleep soundly, even spending large sums on vacations. There's no need to ask parents or siblings for financial assistance when you encounter an emergency that requires significant funds.

I completely agree with that point. True financial well-being isn't just about having a good amount of money saved, but about feeling secure against any unforeseen event without having to sell assets or significant investments. Personally, I think many of us underestimate the importance of having a well-established emergency fund, because it gives us that peace of mind you mentioned: being able to cover unexpected expenses without affecting our stability. When we achieve that security, financial pressure decreases considerably, and we can enjoy life more peacefully, even spending money on things that previously seemed unattainable, like vacations or luxuries. The key is to plan and save consistently, without depending on external help. Financial independence isn't just about having money, but also about the peace of mind that comes with knowing we're prepared for anything.
