There are many sites that I try to open and I get the message "This site doesn't support a secure connection". What is the implication of that? As a webmaster, how do I resolve that so that people visiting the site won't be bombarded with that message?

From my layman's perspective,. I could deduce that such a site is not (meant to be) secure.
