What happened to windows movie maker? Can I still find it to download?

Windows Movie Maker was a great tool to edit videos. It was the first app that I used to edit videos and it was really amazing in performance. It seems that the software isn't in existence any longer.

Would it run now on a Windows 10 laptop? Where can I download it?

I don't think that one can find the original Movie Maker to download. The app's successor, Windows Photos does the same work excellently well.
