I have been exploring different programs and platforms to create websites, and honestly, I have felt a little overwhelmed by the amount of options available. I have tried from very popular builders such as WordPress and Wix, to alternatives less known as Webflow and Squarespace. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and the choice depends a lot on the type of site you want to create and the personalization level you need.
For example, WordPress is extremely flexible and has thousands of plugins that allow almost any imaginable functionality, from online stores to professional forums or portfolios. However, it requires a little more learning and hosting management and security, which can intimidate beginners.
On the other hand, Wix and Squarespace offer very intuitive interfaces with dragging and releasing elements, modern templates and integrated support. This causes you to have a visually attractive place in a very short time, but the flexibility for advanced customizations is limited compared to WordPress or Webflow.
Webflow, meanwhile, caught my attention because it combines visual design with advanced CSS and HTML control, offering a balance between ease of use and professional personalization. However, the learning curve is more pronounced than in Wix or Squarespace.
After trying several options, I realize that there is no universal "best program"; It depends on your needs, experience and objectives. Some seek speed, other customization and other scalability to grow an online business.
I would like to know the opinion of other users: considering ease of use, design, customization and cost, which do you consider to be the best program to create websites today?
