People always seem to believe that business goals and business visions are the same thing. I think business vision is the long term position that the business aims to reach while goals are the short term objectives that would lead to achieving that vision.

What is the difference between business goals and business vision?

I think the vision is the very big purpose that the business seeks to serve. It should be the reason for the establishment of the business.

The way i see it, the vision comes before the goals. I have a vision for my brand to be the next big thing in the next few years, then i start setting goals to get to that vision or to make that vision a reality.

The difference between vision and goals in business, vision tends more towards dreams or ideals, for example in the long term: DBucks will be a leading forum site. While goals are actions to achieve certain targets or goals. such as being able to achieve the highest sales turnover in 2025 etc.
