What is the ideal time for an eatery to open?

My friend is running a mini eatery and there has been various complaints from customers about their opening time saying it is too late. The eatery opens by 9am and my friend is having a hard time adjusting the opening time to be earlier than that.

What time should an eatery ideally open?

There are certain factors to consider here. If it's an eatery that deals with breakfast, then I believe it should be open as early as 6am. If you are talking about a regular eatry, latest 8am they should be open and start making their preparation.

It depends on the city that an eatery operates. In my city, a eatery is already serving food by 7am. That means they opened way earlier.
