A YouTube channel seems to be a viable way to make passive and active income. I believe that there are requirements before a YouTube channel is monetized?

How many of subscribers would my channel need in order for it to be monetized for earnings on YouTube?

Probably about 1000+ subscribers fore you start generating a income from Youtube. I think you can start monetizing your channel right away if you have a publisher id with Adsense.

The main requirements is that your channel must have at least 1000 subscribers and have accumulated 4000 watch hours in the past 12 months. Once you reached these requirements, you can apply for monetization on your videos.
