What is the purpose for your joining on the social media?

Everyone does things for their reasons and objectives. For instance most people would like the social media for just the fact of socialism, making friends among other reasons.
Some people do online marketing for earning online money's through that venture for instance.

Lately I've been using social media to pass the time, because for business, at least for me, it's a bit weak.

I can't say for sure the reason am still wasting my time on social media platforms. I waste average of 8 hours weekly on social media platforms. I will soon deactivate my accounts. I hate wasting my precious time on what does not price money.

One purpose why I joined social media was because I wanted to connect to more persons, then there is also my business. I wanted to be able to reach out to people more easily.

My sole objective is to have some fun. I typically spend 30 minutes to an hour on TikTok, watching instructional and entertaining TikTok videos.

I never thought of social networks as a way to communicate with people, because I have enough real friends and do not need virtual ones. Therefore, the main reason for me is simply viewing entertainment content
