What is the use of a business lawyer? Do you have one?

I have seen so many small businesses have a lawyer that is adjudged as their business lawyer. I don't know if the lawyer would be placed on payroll.

But I thought company lawyers are for big companies. Does a small business need a company lawyer? Of what use is a company lawyer to a small business?

A business lawyer can be very beneficial to a business organisation. He can review contracts before they are signed to see that it favours the business. And he must not be placed on normal payroll. Just a specified royalty within an agreed period is enough.

I think a lawyer is beneficial on businesses weather big or small it will be nice to have one you might not need them all the time tho but when you do they save you a lot of problems and money.
