What is your opinion according to the narrative that says, 'CCTV cameras don't really catch the thief'

For me l do agree with the above mentioned narrative. That's why most CCTV cameras are installed in businesses to monitor the character for the workers and keeping the surveillance unlike security guards that would catch the thieves physically. What do you say about that?

True, you can only have them in video but at the end of the day you can't catch them physically unless caught on the act immediately.
