Ugly is a subjective term, and what makes a business ugly can vary greatly depending on individual perspectives and values. However, some common factors that contribute to a negative perception of a business are: ethical and moral issues, social impact, business practices, and other factors like appearance, brand image, and personal experience. Businesses that exploit workers, customers, or the environment are often seen as ugly. This includes practices like unfair wages, deceptive marketing, and unsustainable production methods.

Also, businesses that operate in secrecy or hide their practices from the public can be perceived as untrustworthy and unethical. Further, engaging in illegal activities, bribery, or other unethical practices can damage a business's reputation and make it appear ugly. Moreover, businesses that provide poor customer service, lack responsiveness or treat customers disrespectfully can damage their reputation. Ultimately, what makes a business ugly is a matter of individual judgment. However, businesses that prioritize ethical practices, social responsibility, and customer satisfaction are more likely to be perceived as positive and valuable members of society.

If there is bribery, unethical practices and immoralities, a certain business can be considered ugly. It surety ruins its reputation and brand identity. No one will no longer believe and if it's not stopped most likely, the court orders its closure.

A business that provides poor customer service, lack responsiveness or treat customers disrespectfully can damage their reputation. This alone can make the customers dislikeness of the business center and they most likely shift to the next steps to the rival business that offers better services.

Ugly business is perceived by customers as not being organised out of order, and lack proper handling by the management. The workers also lack concern or initiatives to help the business look appealing.

An ugly business can ruin the brand reputation of the company and cause the morale of the employees. They better correct their mistakes to avoid losing in the long run because of the ugliness of their business.

Some businesses stoop down so much on the scale of morality and ethics. They actually commit heinous sin in the name of business. Contamination and adulteration of food is one such unethical practices, they put so many innocent lives at risk of diseases like cancer. The Chinese cabbage made of synthetic plastic and adding plastic rices in the rice grain to increase the weight were some practices that made news a few years back

I agree with you on that and there are many f the doing it. One company selling corned beef paid the victim to stop[ spreading the information through media, The said customer bought a dozen of corned beef but the customer was so mad when she saw an earthworm mixed with corned beef. She published it on Facebook and X and the sales of the company plummeted. The management messaged the victim privately that they are going to pay her 2 million pesos just to stop posting and to delete them too. It was the fault of an employee after having not promoted He was seen through the surveillance camera that he mixed the live earthworms into the meat before it was processed . The employee was fired.

What makes the business world ugly is when competition has become unethical and morally bankrupt. That's when people dread the business world.

A business becomes ugly when a staff does an immoral act inside the business center with another staff secretly. If they will be caught, the business lost its value and morale. The6 customers will gradually decline.

A feud between the partners or stakeholders in business makes a business ugly. Sometimes it's so ugly that it comes out in public. Customers loose trust in such businesses where the business partners can't keep their trusts intact in each other.
