We all know that crimes soar anywhere in the world, and the root cause is greed for money. We always hear news about killings almost daily by culprits who want to rob an establishment and even ransack a bank just to fulfill their greed. The human tendency towards greed for money and power is complex, with roots in a combination of psychological, social, and economic factors.

Greed humans aim for survival, and their minds tell them to do something to obtain pretty quickly, so they commit a crime. Greediness kills, and we all hear this saying many times, once we hear news about robbery, kidnapping for ransom, and scamming.

The alibis of the criminals are their fears of losing what they have, which can fuel a desire to acquire more and seek external validation through wealth in the shortest ways. Also, the pursuit of money and power can become addictive, triggering a dopamine rush in the brain that reinforces the behavior,
