What ought to be free but isn't?

In my humble opinion, there are a lot of essential services that should be free, yet they aren't, such as healthcare, medications, and potable water. Unfortunately, this isn't the case for us. However, in some countries, healthcare is provided at no charge. It is challenging to cope with health issues today due to the skyrocketing costs of healthcare. What else can you add?

I honestly can't think of anything that needs to be free, cause when you think about it, there is someone who is actually covering the cost but making it free for others.
