I usually wait for payment proofs before I join a new ptp site. In addition, a small minimum payout is a plus.

There are many factors that would convince me to join a paid to post forum. One of such factors is the reputation of the admin of such a new paid to post forum.

How do you prove and ascertain if the site is legit when it is just a new site?

Unfortunately, there's no way but to try and see what happens. I would try in a newborn PTP only if the minimum threshold is low. Otherwise, it's risky (I'm not eager to run the risk of spending tons of hours per day during weeks to get finally scammed).
