These two banking services, both internet banking and mobile banking, are often confusing, and many people assume they're the same, as both require internet access and don't require a visit to an ATM or bank branch. Both also offer convenient and easy transactions, allowing users to instantly see the amount of their receipts and transfer funds, especially when paying for online purchases.

My understanding is internet banking refers to doing online banking using your desktop, laptop or your phone. Mobile banking is when you only use your smartphone to do online banking.

The mobile banking is a subset of internet banking. Personally, I have never used a PC to do financial transactions. The scope of my intent banking is limited to mobile banking.
