When is repetition of contents necessary?

When it comes to Content Marketing, the emphasis has always been on posting fresh contents regularly. That's fine. But is there any point in content marketing that repetition of contents would have a positive effect and bring in more traffic?

Is it totally senseless repeat an old content?

Try as much as you can not to repeat the content. Instead, focused should be on repurposing and refreshing old contents. Don't repeat the same content.

Repetition often makes you stand out. Repetition of your old content is not entirely unreasonable. Most people have never seen what you have written before.

Repetition of the same post in a new style attracts new eyes. Those who missed it the first time may find you. Even Google loves quality, repetitive content.
