Which android version is the latest?

I have lost track of the android versions now. I am using android 11 and that was the last one that I tracked. Which android version is the latest now? When was it released for mainstream usage? Are you using the latest android version?

If am not mistaken i think at the moment, android 16 should be the latest Android version out there at the moment.

I last heard about Android 14. I don't know if they have released a newer android version since then.

The android version is currently at Android 16 version. They are moving a little bit slower compared to the past couple of years for sure.
