I can however say that the world of the cryptocurrency is very big in that matter, we have so many crypto coins that seems confusing to choose from. So according to your experience what crypto coin do you think it's worthwhile for staking by the newbies.

For staking, I recommend decentralized staking, so I would recommend Solana, Atom, or Ethereum
In my opinion, beginners will be more suited to using centralized staking because it is easier and some of them also use insurance. Meanwhile, decentralized staking will be more suitable for advanced levels, because it is more complicated and requires knowledge of smart contracts.

If you do centralized staking you risk that your coins can be stolen or hacked as they have happened on so many occasions, I prefer to have them in my custody, if you value your money, you have to study how to use it in the best way, and self-custody is the best way to protect it.

Based on my experience in crypto staking, I would advise newcomers to choose Ether (Ethereum) for crypto staking, because Ether's price is also promising in the future so you not only get staking rewards but can make capital gains.

*dusts off thread* I agree; for anyone starting out, I would definitely consider either Ethereum or Solana for staking; the only caveat would that if you do plan on investing, remember when you purchased it before selling as it can mean the difference btwn. getting hit with some long-term capital gains tax or getting slammed w/short-term captain gains taxes.
