Which financial gratification have you delayed for the future financial benefit?

Sometimes, we need to delay some financial gratification in order to get more financial benefit in the future.

What financial benefit have you looked the other way to so that you would get a better financial benefit in the future? Have you ever practised delayed gratification?

I would try to delay buying something I do not need immediately. I'll wait until a good deal is offered.

Usually I postpone buying things like shoes, clothes until December or before Christmas, there will be lots of discounts. So indirectly I will get benefits in the future or save money.

I have always stopped myself from taking profits form my investment and move on, I am mainly holding for a long term

I have renivested my profits for my business several times to increase the capacity of the business.

Buying fancy things for myself. I try to stay away from things that doesn't really make economic sense at that time
