I would contribute this on my opinion, Literally that investment activity which you have knowledge and experience about is deemed to be very nice for you to engage in. This is because you are aware of the possible risks and it's tactics that you can tackle them out to get you on the right track.

Not sure though, but I heard investing in commodities that are used every day such as water or things related to water like cups or tanks used for water and the likes are usually less risky.
Investment business always bears much more risk but till date I found it out as investing in local stock market remain very less risk. Like even if that particular share don't jump then just hold it and get dividends.
Stocks seem less risky but not completely risk free. The thing is that with reduced risks, there would be also reduced yield. So everything is a trade off.
