Which is which saving money in banks or at home?

So in the 20th century, most people in my country are still keeping their savings in form of cash money at home. Therefore what advice do you have for these kind of people?

Well, I am still the traditional kind. I still save money in my mason jar at home. I keep my spare change most of the time.

There is no how you will compare the two. Saving in the bank is by far more secured than at home. Though banks use to charge little interest but is more better. At home, you may lose your savings to arm robbers or misplaced.

It depends on which you consider to be most safe and easier for you. For me I usually use saving in the bank, besides I can also have a little interest when saved at a bank.

In my country, banks currently do not give interest on savings accounts, so there is no benefit if we save a lot of money in the bank, it is better for us to save it in the form of investments, be it deposits, bonds, shares, etc.

I put most of my money in my bank account. I seldom use cash now. But I do keep about $1000 at home just in case I need to use cash. If I need to repair something at home, the repairman just accepts cash.
