With the popularity of vlogging and podcasting, and also Generative AI, a lot of people believe that blogging is no longer profitable. Well, that’s not the case, blogging has evolved far beyond random musing to a resource for education, entertainment, and income. I just do it since 2021, but these blogs are hosted by owners of blockchain platforms. It's the only way I can legally work on blogs using my VAT. Otherwise, I should close my VAT (not a big deal, in my country) to register as a freelancer tout court to the Municipality Chamber of my city (it's shamefully expensive, as huge taxes are required on a monthly basis) and I won't earn 1/10 of my current earnings.

Frankly speaking, in our country blogs are still not taxable but if you are selling products, you will have to register it as a business
