Why do you think almost everyone would say they don't have money yet they have it in their pockets, bank accounts or at home?

For me ever since l knew what money is like more than twenty years ago, l have never heard anyone claiming to have some money including the renowned billionaires. What could be the reason behind that?
People rarely say they have money because it brings problems, not benefits. Money attracts attention, requests, jealousy, and risk. Wealthy people value privacy and control. They let assets speak quietly, not words. Also, most rich people do not hold cash, they hold businesses, stocks, and property. Saying “I have money” sounds naive when your wealth moves every day with markets. Silence is usually the smarter choice.
